    Air Canada + Landline

    Air Canada’s partnership with Landline makes it easy to reach Kingston from anywhere in the world. Landline operates luxury motorcoach service between Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Kingston Airport (YGK), providing seamless connections to Air Canada’s global network.

    Starting May 1, 2026, service expands to four nonstop round trips per day, giving travellers more flexibility to reach Kingston quickly and comfortably.

    Check in at departure airport and receive boarding passes for both flight and motorcoach segments to Kingston Airport (YGK)

    By car

    Via Highway 401 

    • Take the Sir John A Macdonald Blvd. exit (#615) and travel south for approximately 6 km (4 miles). 

    • Turn left onto King Street West and follow the banks of Lake Ontario. 

    • King Street West becomes King Street East, which guides you into downtown Kingston. 

    Via Highway 2 westbound  

    • Continue on Highway 2 

    • Cross the LaSalle Causeway 

    • You are now in downtown Kingston  

    Please note: The LaSalle Causeway will be fully closed to vehicle, pedestrian, and cycle traffic to allow for the temporary opening of the main marine navigation channel on select dates. View the temporary closure dates online. 

    Via Highway 33 eastbound    

    • Follow Highway 33 until you reach Princess Street, then turn right 

    • Continue on Princess Street, which guides you into downtown Kingston

    By Bus

    Red Arrow Ontario Service coach buses will run between Toronto and Ottawa seven days a week. Kingston bus stops include Harvey’s, 1141 Division St., and Goodes Hall, 143 Union St. Learn more.

    Megabus offers service to Kingston, from Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa. Visit ca.megabus.com

    From Kingston, Flixbus will serve Toronto, Ottawa, Windsor, Gananoque, and several other cities across the province. Tickets can be purchased at flixbus.ca

  • By Rail

    With multiple departures and arrivals daily, Kingston’s VIA Rail station offers business and leisure travellers with connections to and from major city centres such as Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto.     Kingston is located at the confluence of Lake Ontario, the St Lawrence River, and Rideau Canal (Cataraqui River). A waterfront city, we welcome visitors arriving by boat and have both city-operated and privately owned marinas.
