The Slaight Music Video Program – 2024
The Kingston Canadian Film Festival and Kingston Music Office are excited to announce the fourth edition of the SLAIGHT MUSIC VIDEO PROGRAM. Once again, local film production companies will receive financing to create new music videos featuring some of Kingston’s top musical artists with a focus on emerging talent! This initiative connects the film and music scenes, encourages local production, and offers a professionally made music video for selected area performers. All greenlit videos will premiere at the Kingston Canadian Film Festival in March 2025. Kingston Canadian Film Festival (KCFF) will take place February 26 – March 2nd.

Note: applications open June 10, 2024. Both production companies and musical artists applications will close on July 31, 2024. The pairings of production companies to artists will be chosen by the production companies in collaboration with the Kingston Music Office and KCFF by August 31, 2024.
