The Tafelmusik program of “Concerti Virtuosi”, directed by Rachel Podger, features wonderful examples of baroque concertos, including Telemann’s Concerto for 3 Violins in F Major, and Corelli’s Concerto Grosso no. 1 in D Major. Tafelmusik’s vibrant colours combine in Vivaldi's vivacious Chamber Concerto in G Minor, and two blockbuster concertos by Vivaldi shine the light on the orchestra’s bass-line players in what promises to be an inspiring performance infused with vitality and brilliance.This season finale is dedicated to the Isabel's beloved former Director Tricia Baldwin.This concert has been generously supported by the Shelagh and David Williams Music Programming Fund.
