Come out for a Mother’s Day treat to experience the Magic of Sibelius at Orchestra Kingston’s final concert of the 2025-26 season.
Opening the program is von Suppé’s popular Light Cavalry Overture, with brass fanfares and the sound of galloping horses, followed by the sunny virtuosity of von Weber’s Clarinet Concerto, featuring Orchestra Kingston’s former principal clarinetist and Kingston native, Sammy Johnston. The concert concludes with the passionate and romantic Nordic melodies of Finnish composer Jean Sibelius’ Symphony No. 1.
You’ll leave with a spring in your step and a song in your heart!
