One of the most internationally successful Finnish string quartets, Meta4 creates music that exists in a timeless dimension where folk, early, and contemporary blur their boundaries and engage in mutual interaction. First prize winners of the International Shostakovich Quartet Competition in Moscow, the International Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition in Vienna, and a BBC New Generation Artist, their program features works by Leoš Janáček, Sally Beamish, and Robert Schumann.
Tickets are $53-72 for the General public, with a discount for Queen's Faculty and Staff. Students of any educational institution can enjoy this show for only $15.
