Join artist Erin Kennedy for a hands-on introduction to creative electronics and new media art. In this workshop, participants will build a nature-inspired Robot Butterfly that can move its wings, chirp a little melody, and light up using electronics. This workshop is great for beginners as it offers an accessible and fun entry point into robotics and electronics art that is playful, interactive, and visually striking. Alongside building, participants will be invited to share stories about nature and creatures that are meaningful to them, whether it’s a favourite insect or pollinating plants from their home region. No prior experience is required, bring your curiosity and a willingness to experiment!
