Featuring our Acting Principal Clarinetist, Robin Dupré, in Carl Maria von Weber’s Concerto No. 2, plus cinematic music depicting both a fall fair and a spring morning, from Canadian composer Godfrey Ridout and French composer Lili Boulanger. These are followed by the bright, sunny world of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1. As an extra treat, the orchestra is excited to premiere a new piece by local composer Dave Barton.
