Grow Your Love:Meditations to Develop Our Good Heart
Drop-in Meditation Classes:Thursdays July 2, 9, 16 and 23: 7-8:15pm
Cultivating love lies at the heart of Buddhist practice and is essential for creating harmony and lasting happiness in our relationships. While love for family and friends often comes naturally, it can quickly fade when we feel hurt, defensive, or unappreciated.
This series explores timeless meditations from Buddha's Lamrim, or “stages of the path to enlightenment.” These step-by-step contemplations gently guide us toward a deeper, more resilient love—one that remains steady even amidst the challenges of modern life. With Buddhist Teacher Bill Spurrell.
These classes are suitable for both beginners and more experienced meditators. Classes are self-contained, so feel free to drop in at any point in the month. Everyone is welcome!
No special clothing is required. No pre-pregistration is necessary. Chairs are supplied. Everyone is welcome!
