Through the Looking Glass is a fully integrated, narrative-driven co-bill from Alex Mundy and Friday’s Child — rooted in Americana, folk, and modern roots music, and presented as one continuous live experience.
Rather than separate sets, the evening unfolds as a shared musical journey, with both artists stepping in and out of each other’s catalogues. Songs are reimagined and woven together to create a seamless arc — more like a carefully constructed story than a traditional concert lineup.
Inspired by the communal spirit of 1960s “Happenings,” the show invites audiences to slow down, put their phones away, and fully inhabit the room. Warm harmonies, rich acoustic textures, and a western-tinged atmosphere frame an immersive experience built on presence, collaboration, and storytelling.
