Intimate affair? Memorial Hall could be perfect. Steeped in history, its stained glass windows and ornate high ceilings give your ceremony gravitas at a bargain.

There are a handful of great officiants in Kingston that can marry you at Memorial Hall. The space can be rented privately through the City of Kingston, but you’ll need to procure the necessary permits, liquor license if you want to have a larger ceremony and reception there.

Connie Howes has been officiating weddings at Memorial Hall for 15 years and offers three painless packages—starting at $250 for up to six guests, another option for up to 35 guests, and a private elopement weekend. Memorial Hall is unlicensed and has no dancefloor, so she recommends couples take the party elsewhere afterward.

“One couple,” said Connie, “ended up on a bouncy castle from the street festival outside! It was so memorable and fun.”
