Founded in 1997 by Baroque scholar and harpsichordist Andrea Marcon, the Venice Baroque Orchestra is internationally recognized as one of the world’s leading ensembles devoted to historically informed performance on period instruments. Their program, Vivaldi, Tartini, Veracini, Locatelli: A Bow’s Duel in Venice, celebrates the city’s legendary violin tradition through vivid contrasts, dazzling virtuosity, and expressive intensity. Featuring acclaimed violinist Chouchane Siranossian, one of today’s leading Baroque virtuosos, the performance captures the drama and brilliance of 18th-century Venetian music.
