The 27th annual ReelOut Queer Film Festival will run for 10 days from Thursday, January 29th until Saturday, February 7th, 2026 in beautiful downtown Kingston, Ontario Canada.
This year’s festival theme is “Exploring Space” as many of our official selections touch on what it means to hold, save, and/or create spaces for communities that need them.
We are showcasing over 65 exciting Narrative and Documentary feature-length and short films from Canada and 15 other countries. While all of the films are about 2SLGTQ+ lives (real and imagined), our intended audience is anyone who enjoys independent film and media. Not only will you have the chance to catch world premieres but you’ll also have the opportunity to meet the talents behind the films at many of our audience engagements directly after the screenings.
Our venues are Kingston’s independently-owned arthouse cinema, The Screening Room and the Kingston Frontenac Public Library (Central Branch) all conveniently situated within Kingston’s vibrant downtown shopping and sightseeing core.
Tickets range between $15 and $25 and Passes range from $75 to $150.
