In celebration of International Women’s Day, Miss Emily and the Kingston Music Office, with support from CFRC Music, are thrilled to co-present an afternoon of music, conversation, and community at the Broom Factory on Saturday, March 7, from 1 to 3 pm. This special event showcases the incredible talents of women and non-binary songwriters in Kingston, featuring performances by Luella, Piner, Kyra and Atiari.
Following the performances, an engaging fireside chat, moderated by Margaret Evans of Balancing Act, will delve into the artists’ experiences in the music industry, exploring creativity, songwriting, and the challenges of navigating the industry as underrepresented voices.
Plus, connect with and support local women and Indigenous-led vendors, including Jaylene Cardinal (W.C. Creatives), Shiva Delight, Commanda Collective, and Angela Stever, featuring handcrafted art, skincare, beadwork, and wellness-inspired creations.Get your tickets now on ticketscene.ca.
