A roots-pop artist with a voice that has been hailed as “raw and powerful,” Alex Mundy has been writing and performing music for almost a decade. In 2019, she was selected as one of the winners of the Isabel’s YGK Emerging Musician Competition. In her own words: “When I have something to say, music is my megaphone. The writing process is my therapy…” Alex is set to release her debut album in 2024. Her first single from the album, Where We Are, was recently featured on WPBS, and the accompanying music video was featured in the 2023 Kingston Canadian Film Festival. With songs that exude a powerful nostalgic quality, indelible melodies, and lyrical honesty, Alex Mundy is ready to share her stories on the Isabel stage.
