Tourism Kingston Board of Directors

Members of Tourism Kingston’s Board of Directors are the fiduciaries who guide the organization’s future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance, and financial management policies. In addition, the board ensures that the organization has adequate resources to advance its vision.

Working in collaboration with key partners such as the City of Kingston, Kingston Economic Development Corporation, Kingston Accommodations Partners, RTO9, and the Downtown Kingston! BIA, and others is essential to Tourism Kingston’s mandate and impact.

Kingston Music Advisory Committee

Committee lead: Moira Demorest, Music Officer

As part of the strategy’s rollout, Tourism Kingston, in partnership with the City, is seeking community members to join the Kingston Music Advisory Committee. Comprising musicians, industry experts and community advocates, this Committee will oversee the implementation of the Strategy, help develop annual music work plans, and advise on ongoing needs in the music community.

Community members who want to get involved are invited to submit a letter of interest to music@tourismkingston.com by March 29.

Applications are currently under review with updates to come by May 2024.

The Kingston Music Advisory Committee will be comprised of musicians, industry experts and community advocates and will oversee the implementation of the Kingston Music Strategy in partnership with the City of Kingston, help develop annual music work plans, and advise on ongoing needs in the music community.
