Get ready to gear up as this action packed itinerary introduces you to our active lifestyle set against a historic backdrop.

8:30 AM: Breakfast at a local restaurant

Start your action-packed day off right with a hearty breakfast at one of Kingston’s many impressive restaurants or cafés – local favourites include  Pan Chancho Bakery and Café and of course, Morrison’s.

10:00 AM: Cycle Kingston

Canada’s best kept cycling secrets. Rent a bike or bring your own — and spend a day exploring the winding roads and trails while taking in the beautiful Kingston scenery. Cycle rentals are offered by Ahoy Rentals or you can take a guided tour with Kingston by Bike.

10:00 AM: The Boiler Room climbing gym (Alternate)

If cycling is not your speed, perhaps a morning of climbing at the Boiler Room Climbing Gym is your ideal venture. Experiences can be designed to suit your schedule and group. Trained instructors will provide a heightened awareness for your adventurous group (up to 35 per session).

11:30 AM: Ahoy Rentals

Race down to the waterfront (just a quick 10-minute walk, west from the Visitor Information Centre) and begin your adventure. Ahoy Rentals offers over 50 watercrafts and bicycles including rentals for day sailing, canoeing, sea kayaking, windsurfing, paddle boarding, and cycling – so you can actively experience Kingston like the locals do.

3:00 PM: Cataraqui Creek Conservation Authority

If you’re ready for a hike through the woods, we’re ready for you! The CRCA offers five superb local conservation areas to enjoy hiking, bird watching and nature, or to take in an interpretive program. Kingston also boasts 10 magnificent Ontario Parks, most within an hour’s drive of its border!
