Kingston Conference Centre

Discussions regarding the feasibility of a purpose-built, small-to-medium-sized conference centre in Kingston began in 2013.  Since then, a number of organizations, including the City of Kingston, Tourism Kingston, and Kingston Accommodation Partners, have commissioned studies to examine various aspects of the idea, including market demand, impact on tourism businesses, and economic impact on the city. All have reached a similar conclusion: construction of a conference centre is imperative in order for Kingston to become a significant participant in business tourism, specifically for meetings, conventions, and exhibitions.

This timeline shows progress to date, providing links to the studies conducted and their conclusions.
