Blue World Marine Adventures – Opens May 2024. Explore Kingston’s waterways in a clear bottom kayak this season. These new day or night guided tours offer a unique underwater viewing experience on Lake Ontario as you travel over maritime history. Tours of the Garden Island ship graveyard give you a close view of more than dozens of ships which date back to the early 1800s.

Creative Kingston Walking Tours – Explore Kingston’s rich music, literature, and film histories through self-guided walking tours available in English and French. Discover the music venues where some of Canada’s best bands got their start. Go behind the scenes of films shot here. Visit the places that have inspired award-winning novels.

Great Lakes Museum, home of the S.S. Keewatin – Opens May 2024. Step aboard the S.S. Keewatin, an Edwardian-era (Titanic-era) steamship now permanently docked at the Great Lakes Museum. Built in 1907, the S.S. Keewatin is one of the last remaining passenger steamship liners in the world.

DoubleTree by Hilton – Opens May 2024. Centrally located conference center hotel with 1,236 sq. m. total event space and 129 guest rooms. Enjoy on-site dining at The Cannery Kitchen and Social, indoor pool, and fitness center.

Home2 Suites – Opens May 2024. Centrally located adjacent to DoubleTree by Hilton with 127 guest rooms and shared event space. Spacious, modern guest rooms feature flexible space to cook, work, and relax. Complimentary hot breakfast, indoor pool and fitness center, Wi-Fi, and parking.

Kingston Market Square Hotel – Open 2024. Located downtown Kingston Market Square Hotel, formerly Four Points by Sheraton. In 2024, we will see this property become a Marriott with a top-to-bottom renovation. Updates include reimagined guest rooms, dining venues, event space for groups, and more.

Restaurants

Big Smoke Burgers – Now Open. Gourmet burgers made fresh daily with ingredients sourced from top quality local producers. Hand-cut French fries, hand-spun milkshakes, house-made sauces. Halal and Vegetarian options available.

Casa Domenico – Now Open. Located downtown adjacent to Market Square. Casa Domenico re-opens serving Italian style cuisine blending a classical approach with modern elegance in food preparation. A strong emphasis on fresh quality ingredients.

Le Jardin – Now Open. Located on the second floor of Mayla Concept downtown. The rotating menu features simple fare all prepared by wood fire to bring out the natural, sometimes surprising, sweet and smoky flavours of our ingredients.

Kiln Crust Co – Now Open. A vintage 1970’s horse trailer now serves up fresh wood fired pizza at various locations. The menu is simple and rotates based on seasonal ingredients.

Patriam Coffee – Now Open. Tucked inside Fine Balance Brewing Company is Patriam Coffee, a locally owned business that began as a mobile coffee bar. The menu features classic beverages like cappuccinos and lattes with top notch ingredients and a food menu that supports local farmers and growers.

Lay Low Cafe – Now Open. One of the newest cafes in downtown Kingston. The casual breakfast and lunch spot offers upscale and fresh cuisine, with a variety of options for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan preferences.
