HORIZON: A 360° Journey

A special presentation for the total solar eclipse in Kingston.

Presented in partnership with The Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning, HORIZON, a 20-minute, 360° film is a soaring visual symphony that places viewers in the centre of the action during an inspiring showcase of Canadian creative expression that unfolds from coast to coast to coast.

HORIZON takes its audience on a revealing expedition from the highest peaks to the deepest seas, and through all ten provinces and three territories. Drawing upon artistic inspiration from across our country’s rich cultural mosaic, the film features traditional and contemporary creative works set in the unforgettable urban and natural landscapes of our diverse nation.

Film run time is 20 minutes, but the experience takes about 5 minutes to get everyone in and then out of the dome (total time approximately 30 minutes).

It can be a bit overwhelming inside the dome; if you experience dizziness, please let one of the attendants know and we’ll seat you closer to the back of the dome.

A VR headset will be available for those who can’t access the dome.
