Kingston Symphony Volunteers Vinyl Records Sale

Great deals at the Kingston Symphony Volunteers Vinyl Records Sale from April 18 – 21

It’s time for another Kingston Symphony Volunteers Vinyl Records Sale! Over the past few months, Kingston Symphony Volunteers have been busy sorting all the donations of LPs, CDs, DVDs, and equipment that we have received at the Kingston Symphony Warehouse. This Thursday, April 18 at 4 p.m., the Vinyl Records Sale opens and you will get to see all the great stuff that’s available. This sale is a Kingston tradition and an opportunity for music aficionados to congregate at the Kingston Symphony Warehouse, 785 Sir John A Macdonald Boulevard, Unit 7A and discover some hidden gems.

From Pop/Rock to Jazz/Blues, Classical to Big Band, Folk to Country, we have albums to satisfy every possible musical taste! The Vinyl Records Sale is your chance to get great deals on classic LPs. There are over 3,000 to choose from, over half being from the Pop/Rock and Jazz/Blues genres. You’ll also find some nice audio equipment like receivers, speakers, and turntables. We have a huge number of CDs (at least 10,000) and DVDs/Blu-ray (over 2,000), with individual titles as well as series and box sets. Our Platinum Lounge, where you can find collectibles and rare items, is once again well stocked.

“My favourite part of the sale isn’t the money we raise, although that’s extremely important, but the fact that someone’s cherished record collection is going to provide someone else with fantastic music. The collection of everything we have this year is very good, in particular our Jazz/Blues selection.” – David Notman, Vinyl Records Sale Volunteer
All sales support the Kingston Symphony and help to ensure Kingston remains a thriving music community. Andrea Haughton, Kingston Symphony General Manager, is appreciative of the hard work that goes into preparing a sale of this magnitude: “For the volunteers who have been spending hours of their time at the warehouse to get this sale set up, it feels like they are working in a giant jukebox. Not only are they raising funds to support the Kingston Symphony, but they are having a lot of fun doing it! Our concerts and education programs depend on the support of our volunteers. We couldn’t do what we do without them!”
So tell your friends and family, come out to the Kingston Symphony Warehouse starting Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 4 p.m. and support a good cause. We hope to see you soon! A full event listing can be found at https://www.kingstonsymphony.ca/events/vinyl-records-sale
