Kingston WritersFest is a charitable not-for-profit literary festival with a mission to promote awareness and appreciation of the literary arts in all their forms and to nurture literary expression. Our vision is to be the organization in our community that celebrates the power of the written word by connecting writers and readers in conversations that inspire, engage, and change our worldview.
Each September, in the heart of downtown Kingston, we host more than 60 local, regional, national, and international writers in a 45+ event, five-day festival designed to delight, inspire, and inform readers of all ages and interests.
