Testimonials

Working with Tourism Kingston enabled our conference organizing committee to more fully showcase local attractions and amenities for our attendees from across Ontario. In doing so we increased the value of the overall experience by adding local flavour with tour trolleys to Fort Henry, a visit from the town crier, and headquartering from our historic downtown.

Sara Montgomery, Queen’s University

We hold national corporate conferences yearly and in 2015 we chose Queen’s University, Kingston Ontario to hold our 20th Anniversary Conference! With 450 delegates, Queen’s was able to provide on campus accommodations, meals, plenary space, trade show space, final banquet and even a sports field where we held our Pita Olympics! The convenience of having everything located in one area was amazing. The team at Queen’s made everything work from start to finish. Our delegates also enjoyed all that Kingston has to offer; Cruising the 1000 islands to golfing near Lake Ontario. Kingston is a FANTASTIC place to hold a conference.

Marina Leos, Pita Pit Canada

Kingston is a great place to have a conference because it’s really central. It’s within a few hours’ drive of just about everywhere. It’s a great place to connect with colleagues, there’s a lot of opportunities to enjoy the local culinary scene and it’s a beautiful city right here on the water.

Christina, Rose Theatre in Brampton

We gratefully acknowledge funding from Tourism Kingston through Conference Incentive Program for an international conference of American Society for Reproductive Immunology held at Kingston, ON (June 2-5, 2015). The conference brought ~250 international and national visitors from various scientific backgrounds. With this support, we were able to provide travel awards to international visitors for sharing their scientific work. We once again thank Tourism Kingston for this wonderful support and wish continued success for contributing towards strengthening international recognition for Kingston and Queen’s University driven initiatives in the future.
