George Scott is the founder and CEO of Scott Environmental Group Ltd. (SEG) and is a recognized expert in the application of leading edge organic recycling technologies that enable municipalities to divert green waste away from landfills. He is also the key driver of Norterra Organics, the first of its kind organic recycling facility in South Eastern Ontario.

Mr. Scott is a sought after industry speaker on topics related to organic recycling, green waste, return on the environment and environmental best practices. He is a graduate of Queen’s University. His company is privately-held and based out of Kingston, Ontario.

Dave Neely

D.K. Neely and Associations

Dave Neely, the president of D.K. Neely and Associates, is a Kingston-based training consultant. He has delivered Client Service seminars for The Knowledge Institute for several years. He attended Royal Military College, and has a B.A. in Psychology from Queen’s University. He spent 18 years with IBM Canada, in the Customer Service and Education Divisions. As an organization, D.K. Neely and Associates is in the business of providing customized processes designed to help individuals and teams to maximize their performance.

Dave has a unique ability to combine his academic and work experience with a pragmatic approach. His energy and boundless enthusiasm make Dave a popular facilitator for a wide variety of clients. John Phelan

Associate Professor
Queen’s School of Business

John Phelan is currently an associate adjunct professor in the School of Business at Queen’s University in the area of Organizational Behaviour, focusing on Leadership in the 21st century. John’s area of study is team effectiveness, coaching, and leadership. Through the years, John has spoken to many different organizations, the latest being Project Managers of the Kingston area and the Kingston General Hospital Cancer Ward group.

In addition to his role at Queen’s, he has worked in the NHL for Ottawa Senators, New York Rangers, Vancouver Canucks, and Winnipeg Jets in the area of mental skills (sports psychology) and team effectiveness between 1997 and 2015. In 2011, he worked with the Canadian Men’s Rugby team in preparation for the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand. He has worked with the Men’s Canadian Olympic Ice Hockey team in 2002 and in 2006 and the Men’s World Cup Championship team of 2004. He is also in his 5th decade as an amateur community
