St. George’s Cathedral Summer Concerts on Thursday June 13 from 12:15pm to 12:50pm with a return performance by the Peletsis-Dardykina Piano Duo from Montreal. Their program, “The Northern Lights: Music From the North”, will feature works by Russian, Norwegian and Canadian composers (Sergei Rachmaninov, Edward Grieg, and John Beckwith). Russian pianists Anna Peletsis and Tatiana Dardykina formed the duo in 2013, and since then have regularly performed in festivals and chamber music series. Duo’s concert project “One Piano: Two and Four Hands” that features repertoire of different eras and genres written for piano solo and piano duet was successfully presented in venues across USA, England and Canada.
