Nautical Nights Speaker Series : Terri-Lynn Brennan Local Indigenous Settlements

The Marine Museum of the Great Lakes at Kingston and the Kingston Yacht Club have assembled an impressive slate of speakers to give you insights into Canadian nautical history with a local angle. The talks will take place at the Kingston Yacht Club on Wednesday evenings.

Tonight Terri-Lynn Brennan will talk on local indigenous settlements. Dr.Terri-Lynn Brennan is the founder and CEO of Inclusive Voices,  Inc.,based on Wolfe Island. She is of Kanien’keha and British descent and her family originates from Six Nations of the Grand River,  Brantford, Ontario. Join her for a conversation on a map of Turtle Island to learn more about the Indigenous history of the region including the importance of the waterways, travel and trade
Join us at KYC for a winter speakers series covering a variety of maritime history topics. Arrive at 6:30 to enjoy a cocktail before an hour presentation from local experts starting at 7:00 pm. Admission by donation.
