Modern Fuel’s New Media Workspace Open House

Come down to Modern Fuel Artist-Run Centre on Monday, June 24th between 6-8pm for the open house of our improved New Media Workspace. Admission to the event is free/pay-what-you-can.

Modern Fuel’s New Media Workspace is a site for the production of media-based arts practices for all of our members. It is a media lab that was developed in response to the lack of resources for artists working in audio and lense-based media, and is dedicated to providing space for accessing, learning, and engaging with these innovative practices. As of this month, the New Media Workspace has been revamped, and we’re celebrating the changes!

The open house will consist of a brief presentation on equipment available, and our rental system. There will also be live musical performances by Kay the Aquanaut (Saskatoon), Kitz Willman (Kingston), and Lindsay Anderson (Saskatoon).
