Absolute Comedy with Headliner: Moody McCarthy

Headliner: Moody McCarthy, is a stand-up comedian who lives in New York with his wife, two daughters, and a Betta fish they rescued from a pet store.  Moody has made numerous TV appearances, highlighted by performances on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and two scintillating sets on The Late Show with David Letterman.  Moody’s material is described as original but universal, and smart without being trite.  Couple that with a disarming stage presence & in-the-moment chops, you’ll see why he’s earned the admiration of his peers for his ability to “go up cold” and turn any setting into a lively comedy room.

MC :  Rodney Ramsey, has made a name for himself across the country as comedian, actor, writer and producer. He is a veteran of Just for Laughs performing in three festivals during his career. Rodney has appeared in multiple commercials and is most notable for his role in the TV drama 24 hour Rental and the Jesse Owens bio pic “Race”. Rodney has also written and performed on CBC’s The Debaters and This Hour has 22 Minutes. He also is the creator the Underground Comedy Railroad, Canada’s only and longest running annual diversity stand up comedy tour.

Feature:  Andrew Packer,  regularly travels across the North American Comedy Club circuit. He is the creator, host & producer of Jokes N Tokes Comedy Showcase. A rising star, Andrew has worked alongside established acts such as Pablo Francisco, Brendan Schaub, Brian Redban, Sam Tripoli and Dean Delray. This past summer, Andrew made his debut performance on the Just for Laughs 42 festival in Toronto.
